About the Coding for Climate Grant
At Forward Education, we understand that choosing the right STEAM tools can be overwhelming. With so many options, it’s hard to feel confident about where to invest your time and resources.
That’s why we created the Coding for Climate Grant. This grant provides educational leaders like you with everything you need for a hands-on STEAM learning pilot—at no cost. You’ll receive 15 Climate Action Sample Kits, 15 micro:bits, project-based curriculum-aligned lessons, and professional development, giving your team a risk-free opportunity to experience how our platform engages students in coding, climate literacy, and real-world green careers.

Grant recipients will receive a class-pack of Climate Action Sample Kits and micro:bits along with a ready-to-use Wind Energy lesson, enabling you to pilot hands-on coding and climate learning experiences with your students.

Eligibility Criteria
- You work at a school, district, or program that serves school districts in the United States or Canada.
- You will commit yourself, other teachers, and/or coaches to participate in a professional development session and implement at least one pilot lesson with students.
