Eligibility
Schools and nonprofits in the Matanuska Electric Association service area — the Mat-Su Valley and surrounding communities. MEA members fund this program through bill round-ups. Schools in Palmer, Wasilla, and surrounding Mat-Su communities are eligible.
Program Goals
MEA Operation RoundUp funds community projects submitted by MEA members. Education programs, STEM projects, and community improvement initiatives at local schools are eligible. Up to $10,000 makes this one of the more substantial cooperative grants available in Alaska.
