Eligibility

K-12 teachers in Hillsborough County public schools may apply. Projects must be innovative classroom programs that go beyond standard instruction and improve student engagement and learning. All subject areas are eligible.

The Hillsborough Education Foundation provides classroom grants to support innovative teaching in Hillsborough County public schools. Grants fund creative projects that bring new learning experiences to students across all grade levels and subject areas. The foundation is committed to ensuring every Hillsborough student has access to quality, engaging education.

Applications are submitted online through the HEF website. The current cycle opened July 15, 2026, and closes January 15, 2027. Submit a project description, student learning goals, and budget. Only Hillsborough County public school teachers are eligible.
