Eligibility

Alabama K-12 schools and community organizations. Good Roots Grants support environmental and community improvement projects — tree planting, school gardens, habitat restoration, and environmental awareness programs. Statewide eligibility.

Program Goals

Good Roots Grants fund environmental stewardship projects that improve communities and build student awareness of local ecosystems. School garden programs, tree-planting projects, and environmental monitoring initiatives are eligible. Combining technology with outdoor environmental learning strengthens applications.
