About This Grant
The 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) program funds afterschool and summer enrichment programs at high-need schools across Connecticut. This is a federal Title IV-B grant administered by the Connecticut State Department of Education (CSDE).
What It Funds
Schools and community organizations can use 21st CCLC funds for STEM enrichment, tutoring, homework help, and expanded learning programs outside regular school hours. Forward Education robotics and coding kits fit well into afterschool program proposals.
Who Can Apply
Connecticut public schools, school districts, and community-based organizations serving Title I-eligible schools can apply. Multi-site applications are common.
