New Brunswick Curriculum Alignment
Forward Education's classroom kits are aligned to the New Brunswick anglophone curriculum. Alignments cover the Science curriculum organized by strand, big idea, and skill descriptor under the 2023 framework, the Mathematics outcomes with their Western and Northern Canadian Protocol codes, and the English Language Arts skill descriptors. New Brunswick has notably strong engineering and design outcomes across grades 5 through 10, which our build-and-test projects map onto directly. Every alignment below was verified against the official curriculum, so teachers in Moncton, Saint John, Fredericton, and every district across the province can see exactly where each lesson fits their curriculum.
How we count: Each percentage reflects how many individual standards are addressed by at least one lesson, project, or tutorial within that product. Because many of our activities are interdisciplinary, multiple lessons may align to the same standard, so your students will often have more than one opportunity to practice each expectation throughout the kit.
