Virginia's Watershed Educational Programs Grant supports Meaningful Watershed Educational Experiences (MWEE) for K-12 students. The program connects classroom learning to local watersheds through hands-on field investigations and environmental stewardship.
What This Grant Funds
Funds cover curriculum development, field investigation materials, equipment, transportation, and professional development for watershed education programs. Programs must include all four MWEE components: foundational learning, outdoor field experience, synthesis and action, and student-led action projects.
