Toshiba America Foundation (TAF)
Grants from Toshiba America Foundation for hands-on science and math classroom projects in K-12 schools.
About This Grant
Toshiba America Foundation (TAF) funds hands-on STEM classroom projects. There are two grant tracks: grades K-6 (up to $5,000) and grades 6-12 (up to $10,000). Both tracks require innovative, hands-on approaches to teaching science, technology, engineering, or math.
TAF has two application windows for grades 6-12 (February 1 and August 1) and one for K-6 (April 1). This predictable schedule makes planning straightforward. The foundation values teacher-designed projects that go beyond standard curriculum.
Physical computing and coding projects that involve hands-on experimentation are an excellent fit for TAF.

The February and August deadlines for grades 6-12 give you two chances per year. If your first application is unsuccessful, revise and resubmit.
Describe specifically how students will interact with materials and investigate questions.
TAF funds individual classroom projects, not school-wide programs.
