What Is Title IV-A?
Title IV-A (Student Support and Academic Enrichment) sends formula funds to every Oregon district for three areas: well-rounded educational opportunities, safe and healthy students, and effective use of technology. Computer science, AI literacy, and ed-tech are explicit allowable uses under the technology pillar.
What Can Title IV-A Funds Cover?
CS curriculum, robotics kits, coding tools, AI literacy programs, and technology integration. At least 20% of funds must go to technology if the district's per-pupil allocation is over $30,000. For most Oregon districts, all three pillars are eligible from day one.
