Eligibility

Public school teachers in grades 6-12 across the United States, including Indiana, are eligible. One teacher applies on behalf of their school or classroom. Projects must use STEM to solve a real community problem. Indiana schools are encouraged to address local challenges in agriculture, environment, technology access, or community health.

Program Goals

Samsung Solve for Tomorrow challenges Indiana students to apply STEM skills to real community problems. The annual national competition selects 500 winning schools across three tiers: 400 schools win $1,000, 90 semifinalists win $10,000, 7 national finalists win $50,000, and 3 national winners win $100,000 in Samsung technology products. The program is one of the most accessible national STEM competitions — any Indiana public school teacher in grades 6-12 can enter.
