Eligibility
Michigan schools, school districts, nonprofits, and organizations partnering with regional MiSTEM Network councils may apply. Programs must connect Michigan PreK-12 students to STEM career pathways through hands-on industry experiences, career exploration activities, and STEM workplace connections.
Program Goals
Michigan's PreK-12 Strategic Investments in STEM Career Exposure program, run by the MiSTEM Network and Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity with MEDC Talent Action Team support, funds programs that connect Michigan students to real-world STEM careers. The program supports industry-school partnerships, STEM career exploration events, employer site visits, and mentorship programs that build student awareness of Michigan's STEM economy.
