Eligibility

Michigan schools, school districts, nonprofits, and community organizations may apply. Programs must focus on hands-on STEM education and must connect students to real-world science, technology, engineering, or mathematics. Priority is given to programs in regions with MiSTEM Network councils and programs serving underrepresented populations.

Program Goals

The MiSTEM 3P (People, Place, Programs) STEM Education Grants, administered by the MiSTEM Network through Michigan's Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity, fund hands-on STEM programs that engage Michigan students in real-world learning.
