EPA Environmental Education Grants (Michigan)
EPA grants to support environmental education projects in Michigan K-12 schools and nonprofit organizations.
About This Grant
The US EPA Environmental Education Grants program funds projects increasing public awareness about environmental issues. Michigan K-12 schools and nonprofits are eligible for awards of $50,000 to $100,000.
Projects combining environmental education with technology, data literacy, or CS are a strong fit. Programs helping students understand Great Lakes water quality, air quality, and climate are competitive.
Note that the 2026 competition closed March 3. Schools interested in applying should begin preparing 6-9 months before the expected announcement date.
