Eligibility

Nonprofit organizations, public schools, and community entities located in or serving communities within the Entergy Texas service territory are eligible to apply. Focus areas are education and workforce development, poverty solutions, and environmental programs. Organizations must be able to demonstrate community impact and fiscal accountability.

Program Goals

The Entergy Charitable Foundation supports thriving communities in the Gulf Coast region and across Entergy's service territory. Education grants fund programs that expand access to quality education, workforce skills, and STEM learning for youth in the communities Entergy serves across Southeast Texas. Environmental grants support coastal restoration, energy efficiency, and environmental education programs.

Application and Distribution

Applications are submitted online through the Entergy Charitable Foundation portal. Entergy accepts applications submitted no more than one month before the February 1 or August 1 deadline. The Foundation requires at least three months after the deadline before notifying applicants of results. Organizations should plan accordingly and avoid submitting too early.
