All public school teachers in the United States including Louisiana. Teachers post projects and donors fund them directly.

Program Goals

Connect public school teachers with individual and corporate donors to fund classroom projects. STEM and coding projects consistently attract donor funding on DonorsChoose.

Application and Distribution

Teachers create a project at donorschoose.org describing what they need and why. Projects go live immediately and can be funded by anyone. Corporate matching programs often boost STEM projects.

Cycle Notes

Rolling. Teachers can post projects at any time. Projects are live for up to 4 months. Unfunded projects can be reposted.

Grant Award Amount

Funding amount equals whatever donors contribute. Corporate matching programs (Microsoft, Google, Lowe's, and others) can double or triple STEM project funding.
