DonorsChoose: Classroom Technology and STEM
Florida teachers post classroom project requests funded by donors and corporate partners. STEM, robotics, and coding are top categories.
About This Grant
DonorsChoose is an online platform where US public school teachers post project requests that donors fund directly. Florida teachers regularly fund coding kits, STEM materials, and physical computing equipment through the platform. Corporate matching campaigns can dramatically increase the value of donations during promotion periods.
micro:bit kits, MicroChat curriculum, and coding tools regularly appear in funded DonorsChoose projects. The platform is especially useful for teachers who need equipment quickly and can't wait for competitive grant cycles. Projects are funded on a rolling basis throughout the year.

Keep in Mind
DonorsChoose projects with a clear student story and specific impact statement fund faster. Be specific about what students will do with the materials.
Corporate partners like Google, Microsoft, and others run matching campaigns that can double or triple your funding. Post your project and watch for promotions.
Smaller, focused projects (one kit, one curriculum set) fund faster than large, expensive asks. Break large needs into multiple projects.
