Perkins V funds career and technical education by providing districts with equipment, curriculum, teacher PD, and program improvement resources. Technology, engineering, and computer science CTE pathways are a strong fit. STEM kits and coding tools used in CTE programs are allowable purchases. In Alaska, CTE programs often serve communities where these skills directly link to local industries.
