Eligibility

K-12 public and private schools in the St. Johns River Water Management District (northeast and central Florida) are eligible. Programs must focus on water science, water quality, river ecology, or water conservation education. Students must be directly involved in hands-on water learning activities.

Program Goals

The Blue School Grant Program, administered by the St. Johns River Water Management District, funds water education programs at schools in the St. Johns watershed. Grants support student investigations of local water quality, river ecosystems, wetland science, and conservation. The program connects Florida students to the rivers, lakes, and springs that define the region's ecology.
