Louisiana K-12 schools and community organizations that provide academic enrichment and youth development programs outside the regular school day. Priority for high-need schools and communities.
Program Goals
Fund afterschool and summer learning programs that provide academic enrichment in core subjects including STEM, computer science, and technology. 21st CCLC grants are designed to help students in high-need schools succeed academically.

Competition cycles are periodic, not annual. Active award holders manage multi-year grants. When new competitions open, they are posted on ldoe.org and the LDOE newsletter.
Grant Award Amount
Award amounts vary by site size and program scope. Multi-year awards provide ongoing funding to sustaining afterschool programs. Individual site awards have ranged from tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of dollars per year.
