Pennsylvania Curriculum Alignment - Forward's micro:bit Ecosystem

Forward Education’s micro:bit-powered STEM kits bring cross-curricular coding, engineering, and environmental science into Pennsylvania classrooms. The alignments below show how each product connects to the PA STEELS Standards (2022), PA Core Mathematics, and PA Core ELA standards across grades 3 through 12. Every alignment was verified by reviewing what students actively build, code, and investigate in each lesson against individual grade-level expectations.

How we count: Each percentage reflects how many individual curriculum standards are addressed by at least one lesson, project, or tutorial within that product. Because many of our activities are interdisciplinary, multiple lessons may align to the same standard, so your students will often have more than one opportunity to practice each expectation throughout the kit.
