Idaho Curriculum Alignment

Forward Education's classroom kits are aligned to the Idaho Content Standards adopted January 2022 and in effect statewide since the 2022-23 school year. Alignments cover the Science standards built on A Framework for K-12 Science Education, the Mathematics standards from elementary grades through the high school conceptual categories, and the restructured English Language Arts/Literacy standards with their Reading Comprehension, Writing, and Oral and Digital Communications strands. Every alignment below was verified standard by standard against the official SDE documents, so teachers in Boise, Meridian, and every district across Idaho can see exactly where each lesson fits their curriculum.

How we count: Each percentage reflects how many individual standards are addressed by at least one lesson, project, or tutorial within that product. Because many of our activities are interdisciplinary, multiple lessons may align to the same standard, so your students will often have more than one opportunity to practice each expectation throughout the kit.
