The Smart Farming Kit is a great robotics kit for teaching coding to junior and intermediate students (grades 5-8). With this kit, teachers can easily teach coding with a purpose with clear curriculum connections and ready to use lesson plans. Students will love learning about the use of technology in agriculture and how advancements in modern farming are supporting climate action. Students will get hands on to build their own hydroponics or other indoor farming system and program it with Microsoft MakeCode.
