The Toshiba America Foundation funds hands-on science and math projects in K-12 classrooms. Grants up to $1,000 are available for K-5 teachers, while 6-12 teachers can apply for up to $5,000 on a rolling basis. Colorado schools are eligible.
What This Grant Funds
Grants support classroom projects that get students actively engaged in STEM learning. Eligible expenses include materials, supplies, equipment, and resources needed to run an innovative hands-on science or math lesson or unit.
Who Can Apply
Public school teachers in K-12 classrooms across the U.S. are eligible. Applications must be submitted by the classroom teacher, not administrators or nonprofits. The project must focus on improving student learning in science or math.
How to Apply
Grades 6-12 teachers can apply on a rolling basis throughout the year. Grades K-5 teachers have an annual deadline (check the website). Submit the online application with a clear project description, student impact statement, and budget. Strong applications focus on novel instructional approaches.
