Community Outdoor Outreach Program (CO-OP) Grants
Eligibility
Texas public schools, school districts, and nonprofit organizations serving youth may apply. Programs must target underserved or underrepresented youth and focus on connecting participants to outdoor recreation, conservation, or environmental education in Texas. Organizations must have 501(c)(3) status or be a public school entity.
Program Goals
The CO-OP Grant Program, administered by Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, helps organizations create or expand outdoor recreation and conservation education opportunities for Texas youth who have limited access to the outdoors. The program funds activities including hiking, fishing, wildlife observation, and environmental science programs that take place at Texas parks and natural areas.
