AMSTI (Alabama Math, Science, and Technology Initiative)
Eligibility
Alabama K-12 public schools. AMSTI operates through regional service centers and assigns participating schools to receive free STEM kits and teacher PD. Contact your AMSTI regional office to enroll.
Program Goals
AMSTI is a nationally recognized hands-on STEM model that provides Alabama schools with free science and math materials plus teacher professional development. It does not provide cash — but it provides materials and PD that can free up budget for additional technology tools. Schools already in AMSTI can use other grants to supplement with CS and coding tools.
