Public school teachers in the United States. Grades 6-12 applications due October 1. Grades K-5 applications accepted throughout the year.

Program Goals

Fund innovative science and math classroom projects. Toshiba grants are teacher-driven: educators propose hands-on projects that improve student engagement in STEM.

Application and Distribution

Online application at toshiba.com/tai. Grades 6-12 deadline is October 1. K-5 applications are reviewed quarterly.

Cycle Notes

Grades 6-12: annual fall deadline October 1. Grades K-5: quarterly reviews. Awards announced within 60 days of review.

Grant Award Amount

Grades 6-12: up to $5,000. Grades K-5: up to $1,000. Funds go directly to the school for approved project expenses.
