Eligibility

Indiana K-12 public school teachers in science and math are eligible. K-5 teachers may apply for grants up to $1,000. Grade 6-12 teachers may apply for grants up to $5,000 on a rolling basis, or for amounts over $5,000 through the June 1 and November 1 cycles. Projects must focus on hands-on science or mathematics instruction.

Program Goals

Toshiba America Foundation has supported K-12 science and math teachers across the United States, including Indiana, for decades. The Foundation provides grants for hands-on science and math classroom projects that engage students in authentic scientific investigation and mathematical reasoning. Indiana teachers in grades K-5 apply by October 1 for awards up to $1,000. Grade 6-12 teachers can apply on a rolling basis for requests under $5,000, or by June 1 or November 1 for requests over $5,000.
