About This Grant
Title II Part A funds flow annually to Minnesota school districts based on enrollment and teacher counts. The program is specifically designed to support professional development for teachers and school leaders. Funds are flexible and can cover a wide range of professional learning activities.
Minnesota districts use Title II funds to pay for STEM and CS teacher training, instructional coaching, curriculum implementation workshops, and conferences. If your school wants to launch a CS or STEM program and teachers need professional development to deliver it well, Title II is a natural funding source.
Like Title I, Title II is a formula grant -- districts receive annual allocations without a competitive application. Contact your district's federal programs director to learn how Title II funds can support CS and STEM professional development in your school.
