Eligibility

K-12 public and private schools within the Southwest Florida Water Management District service area are eligible. Programs must focus on water conservation, water education, or environmental science related to Florida water resources. Teachers may apply on behalf of their school.

Program Goals

Splash! School Grants from the Southwest Florida Water Management District fund small water education projects at schools in the SWFWMD service area (covering much of central and southwest Florida). Grants support hands-on water science projects, conservation activities, and environmental education programs that help students understand and value Florida's freshwater and coastal resources.
