Eligibility

New Mexico school districts with approved CTE programs. Technology, engineering, and computer science pathways qualify. All 89 NM districts with active CTE programs are eligible for formula-based NextGen CTE allocations.

Program Goals

NextGen CTE modernizes career and technical education in New Mexico by funding equipment, curriculum, teacher development, and industry partnerships. CS, coding, robotics, and engineering CTE pathways are prime candidates for NextGen-funded investments.
