Lowe's Gable Grants for Schools
Eligibility
U.S. public high schools with skilled trades, CTE, or vocational education programs. Programs must focus on trades such as construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, or related technical fields.

Lowe's Gable Grants support high school skilled trades and CTE programs by funding tools, equipment, and materials that give students hands-on experience with real trade skills. The Foundation's goal is to address the skilled trades workforce gap by investing in programs that prepare students for trade careers.

Application
Apply online at foundation.lowes.com/gable-grants during the annual application window. Applications include program description, student demographics, equipment list, and explanation of how the grant supports trade career pathways.

Award Amount
Up to $5,000 per school for tools, equipment, and materials that support skilled trades instruction.

Must the school have an existing trades program to apply?
Yes. Lowe's Gable Grants support established or developing skilled trades/CTE programs — schools without any trades program are not the primary target.

The primary focus is high school CTE programs. Check current guidelines for any middle school eligibility.
What trades are in scope?
Construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, welding, and related hands-on technical fields. Technology and automation trades may also qualify.
Are there Lowe's stores in Wisconsin that also support schools?
