Eligibility

Alabama K-12 teachers and schools running environmental education programs. Projects that incorporate hands-on learning, outdoor experience, and measurable environmental outcomes are prioritized. Both urban and rural AL schools are eligible.

Program Goals

Legacy Partners funds environmental education programs that build student knowledge of and connection to natural systems. Sensor-based monitoring, data collection, and technology-enhanced outdoor learning programs are a strong fit.
