What Is IDEA?
The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) sends formula funds to every Oregon district to support special education services. Funds cover specialized instruction, materials, and services for students with IEPs.
What Can IDEA Funds Cover?
Specialized instructional materials, adaptive technology, and curriculum for students with disabilities. STEM tools used in special education settings or in inclusive classrooms for students with IEPs may be funded through IDEA.
