Eligibility

Rhode Island nonprofits and K-12 schools. Programs must serve RI communities — education, youth development, and community programs are prioritized. Schools serving low-income communities and underrepresented populations are well positioned.

Empowering Communities Grants support programs that strengthen Rhode Island communities through education, economic opportunity, and community development. STEM programs that give underserved students access to technology and career pathways are a strong fit.
