Education Excellence Fund (EEF)
Eligibility
All 69 Louisiana school districts. Every district receives an annual EEF allocation based on enrollment and student need. No competitive application required.
Program Goals
Distribute enrichment funds to every Louisiana school district to support educational programs, technology, and curriculum beyond baseline MFP funding. The EEF is designed to support programs that improve student outcomes across all Louisiana schools.

EEF funds are formula-allocated by the Louisiana Department of Education. Districts do not apply competitively. Funds arrive through the normal budget process. District curriculum and technology coordinators manage EEF allocations.
Cycle Notes
Annual allocation through the Louisiana state budget process. Districts receive EEF dollars each fiscal year. Spending is governed by LDOE allowable use guidelines.
Grant Award Amount
Allocation amounts are determined by enrollment and formula factors set by the Louisiana legislature. All 69 districts receive funds. Larger districts with higher enrollment receive proportionally more.
