The Colorado Nonprofits Out-of-School Time (NPOST) Grant, administered by the Colorado Department of Education, funded its inaugural competition in 2024, awarding grants to 11 nonprofit organizations providing after-school STEM enrichment. No follow-on cycle has been posted.
What This Grant Funds
Grants support nonprofit-operated out-of-school time programs with a required STEM enrichment component. Programs must serve K-12 students and demonstrate capacity to deliver consistent, quality programming outside of school hours.
Who Can Apply
Colorado nonprofits operating after-school or summer learning programs that include STEM content are eligible. The inaugural competition required organizations to have existing program infrastructure and a track record of serving students.
How to Apply
No new cycle has been announced since the inaugural competition closed December 5, 2024. Monitor the CDE Student Support page for any new RFP. Organizations interested in this funding should also explore 21st CCLC and Perkins V as alternative funding streams.
