Eligibility

Montana school districts with approved CTE programs. Technology, engineering, and computer science CTE pathways are eligible. All Montana districts with active CTE programs receive a formula-based allocation annually.

Program Goals

Perkins V supports career and technical education by funding equipment, curriculum, teacher professional development, and program improvement. CS, coding, robotics, and engineering CTE pathways in Montana schools are prime candidates for Perkins-funded tool purchases.

Formula-based — no competitive application. Montana districts with approved CTE programs receive allocations through MT OPI. Work with your district CTE director to access Perkins funds for technology and CS purchases.
