Career and Technical Education (Perkins V) Funding
Eligibility
All Hawaii public schools with CTE programs. Because Hawaii has a single statewide district (HIDOE), all CTE programs in Hawaii are part of one LEA. CTE programs in technology, computer science, engineering, and health sciences are well positioned.
Program Goals
Perkins V funds CTE programs that prepare students for high-wage, in-demand careers. Technology, CS, engineering, and career-connected STEM programs are allowable uses. Equipment, curriculum, and teacher professional development are all fundable.
