Eligibility

K-12 public school teachers in North Carolina who are served by one of the 26 participating electric cooperatives may apply. Teachers must teach in a school within an electric cooperative service territory. Applications are submitted through the teacher's local electric cooperative.

Program Goals

Bright Ideas is a statewide education grants program run by North Carolina's electric cooperatives. It provides classroom grants to public school teachers for innovative, hands-on learning projects.
