Eligibility

Alabama K-12 public school teachers. Projects must connect students to agriculture, food systems, and natural resources. Teachers do not need to be agriculture teachers — all subjects are eligible when projects incorporate agricultural themes.

Program Goals

Alabama Ag in the Classroom Mini-Grants fund projects that connect K-12 students to where their food comes from, how natural resources work, and how technology supports modern agriculture. STEM tools for environmental monitoring, plant science, and food systems education are eligible.
