Saskatchewan Curriculum Alignment
Forward Education's classroom kits are aligned to the Saskatchewan curriculum outcomes published by the Ministry of Education. Alignments cover the Science outcomes from Grade 3 through Science 10, Environmental Science 20, Physical Science 20, Biology 30, Chemistry 30, Physics 30, and Earth Science 30; the Mathematics outcomes from Grade 3 through Foundations of Mathematics and Pre-calculus 10 and Foundations of Mathematics 20 and 30; and the English Language Arts outcomes through English Language Arts 30. Every alignment below was verified outcome by outcome against the official curriculum, so teachers in Saskatoon, Regina, and every division across the province can see exactly where each lesson fits their curriculum.
How we count: Each percentage reflects how many individual standards are addressed by at least one lesson, project, or tutorial within that product. Because many of our activities are interdisciplinary, multiple lessons may align to the same standard, so your students will often have more than one opportunity to practice each expectation throughout the kit.
