Ontario Curriculum Alignment
Forward Education's hands-on STEM kits align to the Ontario Curriculum, including the Science and Technology curriculum (2022), the Mathematics curriculum (2020), and the Language curriculum (2023). Each alignment below is built by reviewing individual lesson activities against specific grade-level expectations. This lets teachers across Ontario connect our resources to the standards they are already teaching. Strand-level counts will populate as alignment reviews are completed for each product.
How we count: Each percentage reflects how many individual curriculum standards are addressed by at least one lesson, project, or tutorial within that product. Because many of our activities are interdisciplinary, multiple lessons may align to the same standard, so your students will often have more than one opportunity to practice each expectation throughout the kit.
